Basket Random

Basket Random is a two-player arcade basketball game where physics has a mind of its own. Players flop, spin, and lurch across the court in ways you can't fully predict, turning every possession into a scramble. Score a basket and the game immediately throws a new court, new rules, or a new twist at you before the next round begins.

How to Play

Basket Random belongs to the same "Random" series as other titles built around unpredictable, loose-limbed physics — your character will often react to input in ways you didn't quite intend, and that's the point. You can play solo against the CPU or head-to-head with a friend on the same keyboard.

The core idea is standard basketball: get the ball through the hoop. What isn't standard is how hard that is to pull off with characters who wobble, overreach, and occasionally fling themselves in unintended directions.

Setup

Two teams, two players each.
Player one — W key
Player two — Up arrow key

Both players scramble for the same ball at the same time, jumping, spinning, and colliding in an effort to land a basket. Whichever team scores first wins that round, and the first team to win five rounds takes the match.

Random Variety

After every basket, the game resets you into a completely different setting — new court, new backdrop, sometimes new physics entirely. One round might stretch your players' arms out unnaturally far, another might make the ball heavier and harder to control, and some rounds double the point value of a basket. No two rounds play quite the same way.
