Rooftop Snipers 2 is the sequel to the original two-button sniper duel, and it keeps the same simple premise: jump, shoot, and knock your opponent off the roof before they do it to you. What's changed is everything around that core loop — more characters, more weapon variety, and rooftops that throw new obstacles into the mix.
How to Play
The goal hasn't changed from the original: push your opponent off the edge of the rooftop by landing shots on them. Movement is limited to jumping, which doubles as your main way to dodge incoming fire, and your gun arm has to rise before you can fire — timing that raise correctly is most of the challenge.
Where the sequel opens things up is variety. Instead of a plain sniper rifle for every round, different rooftops introduce different weapons — rocket launchers, javelins, and even a throwing axe make appearances alongside the usual rifle, each changing how you'll want to approach positioning and timing. There's also a small roster of characters to pick from, with more unlockable as you play.
You can duel a friend locally or take on the computer solo. Rounds are quick, so a match rarely drags — win five rounds first and the match is yours.
